Gun or Sword

Your standing by yourself surroundid by zombies. Your running low on energy. You find a gun and a sword sitting on a bed. You can only pick up 1 because the other one will slow you down to much. Which one do you take the sword or the gun and why would you take it?

i chose the sword since the gun will run out of ammo and how big a gun, a two handed gun or a handheld gun.

well if it is a handgun, then why not take both since a handgun is not that heavy

Sword, might suck if it's not light though.
The gun would run out of ammo soo...yeah...sword, and you can't pistol whip the shit out of it, it won't die xD

What kind of gun is it and how much ammo does it have?
What type of sword, how old is it and is it in good condition?

Also! Here's a suggestion: You could always take both, hack off as many zombie heads as you can manage, use the gun to blow some half-eaten brains out and once you've gotten down to your last bullet, you shoot yourself. You'll die on your own terms and have satisfaction of knowing you kicked some zombie buttocks.
