[Review: iPhone app] Canabalt
Canabalt is a simple yet addictive one button action game in the style of doodle jump, making it fun and easy to play, but difficult to master.
Upon starting the game up you'll see that the game emphasizes the need for sound, this adds to the overall atmosphere that the game creates, similar to a summer action film.
The graphics do have a sort of hand drawn or cel-shaded feel, giving the game a truly unique look, The animation is exetremely well done, with the bird and running animation's being top notch.
You also have the ability to submit you're highscores to the leaderboards, or to you're Twitter account.
Whether it is the birds or the things you see off in the distance; in the end it all adds to that overall atmosphere, Which is what really make's this game great.
